Antonio Scarlata is a Mexican-American director, cinematographer and photographer born & raised in San Francisco.  He studied New Genres at San Francisco Art Institute and graduated with a B.A. from the UCLA School of Theater, Film and Theater.  

His motion picture work spans comedy, documentary, music video and commercial and he’s worked behind the lens with some of the great talents today in comedy and drama as well as legends of music and sports.  He is a D.G.A. director with the eye of a cinematographer and an award winning cinematographer with the sensibilities of a director. 

Antonio’s documentary, travel and street photography are observations of sincere moments of poetry, serendipity, reflections and humor.  His studio and portrait photography is bold, graphic and playful.  

Antonio resides between California and New York City and speaks English, Spanish and German.
